Using Bad Tactics for New Loans

I was trying to get a loan and they have bought a program that pulls public records. The manager told me that he can or can not give me a loan by determinig my history. My history was Chapter 13 over 16 years ago, not my history of paying them on time for the last two years. He told me if I killed a dog ten years ago, the dog still dead, so is my history. I am going to pay them this last $800.00 and tell them to kiss my %$#. And never use the again, bankruptcy is not even on my credit report, but they are judging me on that anyway.

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!!

These people are not worth your time. First of all, they didnt even offer me a place to sit while we we talking about my application. Then, when we finally got through that, the lady took our credit report to another person. He proceeds to yell across the room asking us about our credit report. I thought that was confidential information?!?!?? I don't want all of our information told to the world. After that, they say they need proof of employment, or a pay stub. She tells us to run to the bank to get the information we need. When we get back, she said "I don't need this, you got the wrong thing." needless to say...we walked out and went next door to a much, much friendlier place and got what we needed. My advice: stay as far away from first Franklin financial as possible.

Calling and harrassing me when I'm not late on a payment

First Franklin has been harrassing me for non payment, after being about 2 weeks late and I told them I will be paying them off as soon as I get paid this week. They are telling me they are putting me into collections for being 3 weeks late on a payment.

Never been late before and I told them what my plans were about 4 times now, to the same person. This is all behind $500 dollars.

First Franklin is not a good company to deal with , they do not try and work with you at all. Think long and hard before you deal with these crooks.

Interesting, your 1st comment was you aren't late but then later in your comment you are 2 weeks late. Most contracts state "on or before" the due date. I would imagine if your paycheck from work was 2 weeks late you would act differently

They have recently did the same thing to me. I tried to make arrangments before I was late but wasn't able to because it was the end of the year.

Then by the end of the month, they called me everyday asking me the same thing even after I told them a day I could pay them a double payment.

Afterwards, seeing as I wasnt going to buge, they told me they were going to take legal action, knowing they cant. I would never recemend them to anyone.
